1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Kaup, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Kaup.

2. What Kaup is

Kaup is a platform that helps people connect to barter and trade goods, services, and cash. Kaup is not a party to any trade between users. We don't own, inspect, or guarantee any item or service listed, and trades happen between users at their own discretion.

3. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of your listings, the security of your account, and everything that happens under it. Keep your credentials private and let us know about any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

• No illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited items or services.
• No harassment, fraud, spam, or manipulation of bids or reputation.
• No attempts to move trades off-platform to evade safety protections.
• No scraping, reverse engineering, or disrupting the service.

5. Trades, bids & fees

Bids and trades you agree to are your responsibility to honor. Barter trades are free. Cash trades may carry a transparent fee disclosed at the time of the trade. You are responsible for any taxes arising from your trades.

6. Safety & moderation

We use reputation, gated messaging, and automated safety scoring to reduce risk, but we can't guarantee any trade or user. We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these Terms or put users at risk.

7. Disclaimers & liability

Kaup is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaup is not liable for any damages arising from trades between users or from your use of the service.
